Sarbanes Calls on Energy and Commerce Committee to Investigate Any Effort By Trump to Enrich Himself or His Businesses Using the Office of the Presidency

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Democracy Reform Task Force Chair Rep. John Sarbanes (D-Md.) today introduced an amendment to the Energy and Commerce Committee’s oversight plan to allow the committee to investigate any efforts by the Trump Administration to use the office of the Presidency to generate profits for the Trump Organization or any of its related businesses.
